i've noticed reddit discussions showing up for more random searches lately. anyone seeing more traffic or attention from google because of their reddit activity?
Is reddit becoming more important for search traffic?

Yes, Reddit seems to be getting more visibility on Google lately, especially for long tail and best recommendations searches. So some people are definitely seeing extra traffic from it, but it really depends on the niche and how active or useful you are on the Reddit.

It is. Most of the questionnaire searches Reddit pops up at the top.

For Google if you mean just SEO not really but for AI search it s probably the biggest source. We do actually own a farm of accounts that are optimised for improving these ranking I mean improving, commenting about different products, posting and we see huge improvements

Yeah, google page #1 is normally dominated by reddit.

i'd separate visibility from actual traffic here.
reddit can show up everywhere for question/recommendation searches but that doesnt automatically mean those threads are sending much traffic. sometimes the user gets enough from the snippet or discussion itself and never goes any further.
i'd track google impressions/clicks to the reddit thread and then referral clicks from reddit to the actual site separately. that would tell you whether reddit is just getting more SERP exposure or actually becoming a stronger traffic source.

Yes, I have observed that as well. I think Reddit is going to be one of the top businesses in the coming days. I am already into it and would advise starting research on Reddit.

Very good strategy, I feel. Starting to generate traffic from different sources early will give you more data, while the e-mail list becomes something you can own.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Traffic from different sources at an early stage indicates the actual sources that are bringing in conversons.

Reddit is becoming the best source of information. Whenever I search for something on Google, the top results are from Reddit.

yeah reddit still really important source for this imo.without it you can miss out on a lot of useful traffic and exposure
