I want to make money from editing TikTok videos.

Start by getting really good at one type of editing instead of trying to learn everything. Short-form content is probably a good place to start, and having a few solid examples of your work will make finding the next client much easier.

Start by getting really good at one editing style, build a small portfolio from practice projects, then start taking small gigs and slowly raise your rates as you get better.

if your editing good you could try afl or a view based monetization program.us views can also pay better so its worth focusing on that audience.good luck

First, create 3 to 5 high-quality sample videos around a specific niche; then, go to platforms like Upwork or Contra and directly contact small creators or businesses that have already published videos, and show them the relevant sample videos.

Try OFM jobs (dot) com they have bunch of listings always for editors/clippers it doesnt pay first world rates but something if you desparately need funds

My agency uses AI to edit our videos and it's been extremely successful. If I were you I wouldn't put all your eggs into one basket... just be wary. This is a job I foresee becoming very short on demand.
 
If you already got one editing work then just learn more by doing. Start with TikTok and reels editing, captions, cuts and good hooks. Make some samples and then try to find small clients. Slowly you can get more work.
 
In my opinion you should go to pinterest search what type of edit you want to make like real estate video you will see great edits there try to replicate them. You should learn basics from youtube and there are many ai editing tools that gets the work done in minutes
