Social media changes quickly. What is one simple strategy that has actually improved your engagement recently?

Short form video is still king for reach. Focus on consistency and hooking viewers in the first three seconds rather than overproducing content.

Replying to comments quickly has been working pretty well for me. It usually keeps the post active longer and gets more people joining the conversation.

Instead of posting a link directly in the caption (which algorithms heavily suppress because it drives users off the platform), the strategy is:The Hook: Post a high-value Reel or carousel detailing a quick win, but withhold the final step, checklist, or template.The Call to Action: Tell users to comment a specific keyword (e.g., "GROWTH") to get the resource sent straight to them.The Loop: Use a tool like ManyChat to automatically slide into their DMs with the link the second they comment.Why it works so well:The algorithm sees an explosion of comments on your post, assumes the content is viral gold, and pushes it to a wider audience. Keeping posts simple and specific seems to work better than trying to cover too much.

Short posts that answer one clear question or solve a small problem are easier to engage with, especially when they invite genuine discussion.

consistency + older accounts always perform better with the algo. most ppl dont realize account age is wayy more important than the platform itself. warming an account properly for 2-3 months before going hard makes a huge difference

Still short videos, they're quick and relatable.

Every social media is different, what will work in one won't work in others. Like in youtube i post weekly twice, but i post useful info and that gets decent amount of views.
but for my instagram account same doesn't work. I have to post daily to get the same no. of views.
In facebook i have to spam videos to get views.

I’m still new to this, so I’m mostly just trying things and seeing what works. I’ve noticed that sharing something I actually tried gets a few more replies than just posting for the sake of posting.
