Hi everyone
On my Instagram account, whenever I can't refresh the page, a notification page appears saying: "Sorry, an error occurred." How can I fix this error?

This problem often occurs when your data network is unstable. You can try using a different data network or uninstalling the app and reinstalling a different one; this should quickly resolve the issue.

Check if there is an update available, try updating the app, and check again, also check if you have a stable network connection.

Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data and see if anything changes. Sometimes it’s literally just a connection/session issue.

maybe the account is banned if it’s was banned you will see this response or if there was something wrong with your network

try to login from web browser it’s will show you if it’s was banned
also sometimes you have to appeal a violation notification so login from web browser to know

i would just clear data and cache off the app. usually i found that fixed it, though you have to relogin

Thank you. I’ve tried switching to a different Wi-Fi/4G network and reinstalling the app, but this message still appears.

I’ve tried switching back and forth between Wi-Fi and 4G, but the "Sorry, an error occurred" message still appears every time I refresh the page.
