Seems to be tiktok but no ai and less censorship.

Another top of funnel traffic source me thinks.

I mean might as well repost content there, right especially if you're like me and have like 100 shorts.

I have tried reposting to Clapper before but the engagement was nowhere near TikTok levels. The algorithm seems to favor local US content heavily, so unless you are targeting that specific demographic, it is likely not worth the effort compared to other platforms.

honestly not worth it right now. clapper is too new and the platform algorithm doesnt reward effort like tiktok does. if youre not getting traction on established platforms, clapper wont help. better to master one platform first then expand when clapper has actual reach

kwai was a solid tiktok alternative, it had like hundreds of millions of users and in the last few years they lost space

this clapper stuff, it they really start to get some traction and bother someone, it will be either bought and become part of some monopoly (like meta, bytedance, x and so on) or be destroyed by the big boys before becoming something really relevant

for the last few years it's like that, nothing new appearing, just the same ones monopolizing everything, maybe something local here and there, but nothing like a new facebook, a new youtube or a new tiktok

Some other things are valued besides reach. The main motivation of several of these alternative is to oppose the big boy domination and lack of free speech perceived to be on their platforms. Likewise I and others join many of these communities in the hopes some break out and succeed, while resisting the offer to be gobbled up by somebody else's monopoly. In those cases there would be a secondary motivation to promote them, as you could develop a reputation as a user who backed it when it was just a micro guppy alternative, like Rumble once was.
