Instagram AC disabled

I have a 6+ year-old Instagram account. I was scrolling through Reels when I received a notification saying, “Your profile is not matching our Terms and Policies.”

I haven’t posted anything since last year, nor have I shared anything or commented anywhere.

Why did I receive this notification?

What you posted last times ? Perhaps something triggered their algo now

Even you have not posted or commented recently ,Instagram can still disable an account due to older content
,suspicious login activity or an automated mistake Check the account status section and any appeal options to see if instagram provide more details it will clear you that did they actually disable your account or its just a warning
 
So did you just recieved a notification or your account was permanently disabled? Can you share screenshot?

And did you make an appeal already?
 
First thing I’d do is check Account Status. If there’s actually a violation, it should give you a better idea what triggered it.

Because Meta stupidly replaced its employees with AI, some accounts are now getting banned randomly.

Fck Meta AI they are keep banning people fo no reason All You can do is appeal and selfie verification done
 
Could be an old bio link, an old post that triggered new guidelines, or someone tried to brute force your password
 
could be tied to something outside direct control like a linked account or a past interaction getting flagged in bulk moderation sweep worth submitting an appeal if the notification does not specify what exactly triggered it.
 
Yeah, that can happen even on inactive accounts. Instagram can review the account itself, not just recent posts. Could be an automated flag or an old profile issue. I would check Account Status first and appeal if there’s an option.
 
They have been overly like this lately. My account got banned and I was doing legit stuff. I got it back of course. But AI just being a little inaccurate at the moment.

Meta's AI is shit since it bans those who are legitimate, as in your case.
