Hii Guys,
Currently I am testing 2 ads for the same campaign right now and getting a bit confused with the results. the first ad gets more clicks and has a better CTR, but the people coming from it do not converts very well.
The second ad gets fewer clicks, but the leads I get from it are much better and more of them actually turn into customers. So now I am not sure which one should I focus on. would you keep both ads running for longer, or move more of the budget to the one bringing better customers ?
How do you normally decidee btween more clickss and betters quality results.

If your second ad is consistently bringing better customers, start shifting some budget towards it while keeping the first one running.

Quality vs quantity. Quality first

If your clicks don't convert this is not interesting to focus on it, because probably something has to be improved somewhere

i'd optimize around the second ad. ctr is useful for diagnosing the top of the funnel, but if the objective is customers then the ad producing customers is winning. i'd still look at why the first ad gets more clicks though. sometimes the high ctr is coming from a message that creates curiosity but attracts the wrong intent. that's useful information for the next creative test.

Did you run a real A/B test, or are you just adding two ads to the same ad group and testing them that way?

If you added two ads to the same ad group and are testing them this way, I would also recommend creating an A/B test (experiment), changing only the ad in the same campaign, splitting the budget 50/50, and testing it for one week. You can get more reliable results this way.

If the second ad has enough data, let it take more spend and see if the result stays consistent.

I would concentrate more on the advertisement that will bring better leads and customers rather than clicks. Having a high CTR is impressive but what matters is whether the visitors converted or not. I would keep running the two ads for some time and compare their conversions before gradually shifting more funds to the better one.

You should keep both ads running a bit longer but give more budget to the one bringing better-quality leads and customers because CTR matters but actual conversions matter more.

Check what happens after the lead comes in. If ad 2 keeps producing buyers at a better cost, thats the one worth putting more budget into.

I would focus more on the ad that brings better customers and more clicks do not always mean better results and make sure to keep testing both and compare the leads and sales.

I would focus more on conversions and customer quality rather than just CTR. Keep both ads running until you have enough data, then move more budget to the one bringing better customers and lower acquisition cost.

Trust the second ad, not the first. CTR just measures attention, conversions or CPA matters most

Don’t look at CTR alone. If the second ad brings better customers, it may be the better one even with fewer clicks.

I dont think CTR alone bring anything to your Biz you certainly should care more about the final lead and therefore Ig you should try more creatives and work more with A/B and untill then work on the one which has better conversion

The second ad sounds better. Traffic quality is more important than just getting cheap clicks.

I think that one should go for the ad which generates higher quality leads as opposed to generating higher numbers of clicks.

See which ad brings people who actually engage with the site before giving it more budget.

Let the test collect enough data first. Sometimes low CTR ads can bring much better traffic because the message attracts the right audience.
