I give up on "warming up" tiktok accounts..

Respectfully, I keep getting fucking 0 views. Everybody on this forum uses AI to reply and there's no real info into "warming up." From my exp, the warmup is needed on older devices, while newer devices can post out of the jump.

I'm debating on buying a 1-2 year old account and posting on that. Has anybody done this instead of doing a lengthy warmup?

Buying an aged account might help in some cases, but it's definitely not a guaranteed fix. Before spending money, I'd test with different content formats, make sure the account looks natural, and verify there aren't any restrictions on the account. If multiple accounts on different setups are all getting 0 views, I'd start looking at the technical side rather than assuming the account simply needs more warming up.

i have even abandoned the idea that there is some kind of standard warmup process that one should follow. a few days of scrolling through the app, liking posts nd waiting does not appear to give any guaranttees. should u be experiencing zero views on ur videos regularlly i would try using a couple of truly different ones nd see how they distribute.
 
i think aged accounts will have the same issue, especially if you login from one country when the account was made from another, the warm-up process will be even longer. not sure about a new device, would be interesting to hear your feedback have you tested an old phone vs new phone?
 
I usually get views and attract followers for new accounts by commenting on videos from channels in the same niche. You could try this approach as well.
 
I’ve wondered about this too If an older account can start posting without all the warming steps it definitely seems worth testing both approaches

Yeah, it works really well at the start because you are working with people who are intersted in what you have to say. But you do need to make sure your comments are adding something.
