Hi everyone
I received an error message on Instagram when creating a business profile? The message says “You have reached the limit on the number of businesses you can create at this time”. How long will it take to resolve this?

You have created too many profiles now. Please inform us that it will take some time, within 24 hours. You can recreate them, or you should use a different account to create the page.

Instagram flagged your IP for switching account too many times. Just turn on mobile data and do it from a fresh browser tab.

Sounds like you have been flagged for some suspicious activity. if you suspect it might be your IP use a 4g proxy to create a new meta account especially if you are adding the account in an already established meta account which already has one or multiple IG accounts associated with it.

There is no usual cooldown period for this error. See whether you have some business profiles which you haven’t used yet, and if you don’t, wait for a couple of days before repeating the process.

If account is the same, then try again after 24 hours or 7 days if that doesnt work.

Thank you. I tried switching to mobile data (4G) and opening a new incognito tab as you suggested, but I’m still getting the same error.

after 24 hours, if I try again but still continue to receive this error message, is there any other solution?

If I check and find that there are old business portfolios or Pages that are no longer in use, would deleting or unlinking them help remove this restriction immediately?

May I also ask whether, during this 24-hour to 7-day waiting period, I should take any other steps to resolve the issue (for example: switching the account to Creator Account mode instead of Business Account

It can take up to 7 days if you wait for the restriction to reset naturally without any spam activity. You have to wait, and the limit will automatically reset.
