Reposting content still works?

I have been trying to repost some sexy girl content on instagram, mainly adding some filters, cropping resizing etc and adding a caption on the video, but it is not working I'd say at all, most I got was like 200 views....

On my AI pages I am getting 5k views on average

So my question is, does reposting non original still working? I saw some clipping pages and some movie clips pages which seemed to do well, but interestingly I couldn't find any girl reposting accounts....I mean I could, but none actively posting reels, maybe just my algo not surfacing them but wanted to ask you guys for any insights

Depends on the niche, generally you could get away with reposting as long as you got decent hooks in place. Also, sometimes it simply takes the algo a bit of consistent posting before you start getting traction.

try a software that can change the metadata of the content, that way instagram will not detect at all that you have repurposed the content. i think Dupify is still in game

We’ve seen repost pages struggle when the content isnt adding much beyond filters or cropping, while original or heavily transformed content tends to get better reach.

The problem with reposting without changing the metadata is that IG doesnt favour it, They push new and unique content, As IG's end goal is to keep their users active on the app and let them spend on Ads, To do this they want new and unique content not duplicate and reposted content.

I am really just reposting the original with a different caption on the video, not working so far

Tried to look for dupify, didn't find anything, I'll look for some other tools as well, thanks for the direction

reposting works but just editing the crops or applying fillters might not be enough. it appears like instagram likes content that is more unique or brings something new. different hook nd edits should be tried along with retention.

simple reposts may not work as well now especially when the video is almost the same as the original.

Well yes, it is becoming increasingly difficult to promote plain reposts when there isn’t really much to post about. There is almost always a certain way to add spice to the post.

Try to repost it but use some edits like add your signature, other video description an additional sound and make some small visual changes may work better that way but don't try just to coppy and paste it

It still works, as long as you keep the account Trust score high,

before blaming the repost itself i'd compare the retention numbers with those AI pages getting 5k.

if the repost is losing people in the first 1-2 seconds, changing metadata probably isnt going to fix much. i'd test the same clip with a completely different opening/hook and watch time rather than just cropping/filtering it.

the fact your AI pages already get decent reach makes me think there could be a content/retention difference here, not only an account issue.

I am reposting content from other pages which has performed well/gone viral before, that's why I was not thinking of this being a content issue

I think original content is still the safer approach. Reposting with minor edits may not be enough to get consistent reach on Instagram.

I think it still works, but the niche matters a lot. Movie/clip pages have an actual reason for people to share the clips, while random girl reposts are probably way more saturated.

If you heavily edit the content then yes you can use and reupload it.

they can see a lot now about reposted content. AI is good, just use that for normal model content too otherwise you will be forced to try and over-repurpose
