Hi guys,
I recently joined this forum, and wanted to ask about something I am facing with in my PPC campaign.
the clicks are coming in normally but the sales often show up much later, sometimes the next day.
I am not sure if this just normal for the campaign or if there could be an issue with tracking.
Has anyone else had this happen? please tell me the reason and what shouold I do?

Check the tracking first and compare the ad data with actual sales. People may click first and buy later, so give it some time before changing the campaign.

Yes, I would first check on the tracking before starting on the campaiign because it might take some time for the conversions to show up.

Your sales can happen later due to delayed conversions, longer buying cycles, or users returning after the initial PPC click.

the mismatch is usually just attribution timing. google ads credits the conversion back to the click date, while your backend may count it on the actual sale date. i’d check the days to conversion report to see how long your real lag is before making any changes.

Make sure your ad account and website are using the same time zone, because diffrent settings can make the clicks and sales show up on diffrent days.

make sure your attribution window is setup correctly. sales coming the next day can still be attributed to the original PPC click.

That’s pretty common with PPC, especially for higher-consideration products. I’d use longer conversion windows and attribution data so delayed sales are still connected to the original click.

Judge the campaign using weekly data instead of daily sales, because late purchases can make one day look much worse than it really was.
