Weird though. The manual action from a previous owner should not show up on your own GSC
How long it takes a manual action to be removed from Google?

Two weeks isn’t unusual. I’d give google some more time rather than submitting another request while the current one is pending. Since manual action was already on the domain, also make sure old issues are fully cleaned up and mention what was changed in reconsideration request.

It depends on the type of manual action and how quickly the issues are fixed. After making the necessary changes, you can submit a reconsideration request in Google Search Console. The review time can vary, so there isn't one fixed timeframe for every case.

I would wait a little longer before submitting another request. Two weeks doesn't seem unusual, especially if the site had the manual action before you acquired it.
