these days reshares, reposts and saves are the number one metric that meta algo is using as good signals. a reshared and saved content tells the algo that this content is worth engaging in and gives it further boost. make shareable or save worthy content.

Shares and engagement definitely. Also those who have experience is some area they can be viewed as authorities and that means they can charge for the same services twice as much.

Create great content with catchy hook while remaining consistent is enough for attracting steady attention. Once you got the attention keeping it forever is the main challenge. In that phase you should study your analytics deeply and need to draw insights for your audience. Once you have insights create content accordingly while engaging with your audience actively. This will be more than enough for steady attention.

it's not a one time thing, but if you post constantly, and people start coming on instagram specifically to search for your @, you will see a boost in engagement. so make a short, and memorable handle that is easy to search. never use numbers

In my opinion the key is in giving people some thing to respond to not in asking them to engage. the post that initiates dialogue will works better than the one attracting a bunch of likes.

i’d say Instagram rewards overall content quality and how people respond to it rather than one single metric shares saves comments watch time and repeat engagement are strong signals while followers are more of a result of consistently giving people a reason to come back
tbh, likes does not say much. Shares, saves and actual interactions mean more, in my opinion especially when the same people consistently shows up in your posts.

In starting instagram try from 200-300 views that how poeple react, if it has good response it will pop off
In my experience, watch tym is the tell tale sign. whenever someone watches it, re-watches, saves or shares the video then there was more chance of getting traction despite of all the likes.
tbh sustained engagement usually stems from folks engaging in some action after viewing the post like sharing, bookmarking, commenting or visiting ur profile. Likes are often gud but they does not paint the full picture.
