What can I expect from a LinkedIn page and how to get the most out of it?

focus making the profile look credible instead chasing 500 connections.smaller network of relevant people more useful and you can keep growing it through real engagement and targeted outreach

I was asked to move this post to the right subforum, so here it goes again. Sorry for the confusion.

I am incorporating soon, and a LinkedIn page, even if kind of rancid and out of place with, for example, the kind of guerrilla marketing I want to do, seems like a must have.

Are there any LinkedIn marketing services you can recommend or threads you can point me to in the marketplace?

I guess a must have is 500+ contacts. How safe is getting 500 non-organic contacts? Have you had personal experience on this specific point?

What else should I aim for?

Would you, on the contrary, discourage non organic growth, and think it'd be better if I contact people, slowly and painstakenly? I would incorporate as a SaaS looking mid sized web development businesses?

I'd appreciate any and all feedback you can provide!
Thanks,
Elias
Buying fake followers is a quick way to have your account banned. company pages already receive no organic reach thus, you should concentrate on the founder’s profile and reach out coldly to developers.

reach out coldly to developers
Time to put my shyness aside, I guess. Damn, I think this is the reason why many developers hate the marketing part.

I'd like to think only the first calls/contacts are hard, and after that it's all pure repetition.

post actual projects and small case studies. that gives potential clients something concrete to look at when they visit the page.

linkedin is more useful for building trust and showing what you know than chasing numbers good content and real leads matter more in the long run
