I've tried using AI for a few marketing tasks but sometimes editing the output takes almost as long as doing it myself.
What are you guys using AI for that genuinely saves time?

research and competitor research saves me a lot of time. Also turning one piece of content into different formats. for writing from scratch, I still end up editing too much sometimes lol. AI works better for the boring repetitive stuff imo.

AI agents helps a lot with the daily tasks like keyword alerts, competitor search and lead generation. Currently exploring more about using it for marketing. It helps me on the R&D part effectively.

Simple, from ly experience.

Work that I was doing in months is now done in days.

Work that was never possible IS now possible. (Coding side)

It completely changed how I do business. More time, more productivity.

yea of course, thing i need weeks or months is now finished within few hours...

content for tier 1 man.. used to pay writers 5 bucks an article for web 2.0 filler, now its free and better. that's the one place it saved me real money, everything else i still edit

ps : again content thanks to agents now filling all the options, fields by different tools like gsa ser, rankerx etc by a single clicks before that i had to book a day and setting up those campaigns lol

I think it saves time but burn as well. Take an example of me yesterday I was trying to make a logo a website logo according to the theme I had a letter b which I want to make it according to the gradient color of the website theme.

Gemini made half the logo right like according to that theme but other was messed up I spend 1 hour telling it the part you made is right make all that logo according to that. But, it was not making it and I had to send it to a graphic designer

ai save the most time on research and coming up with ideas. i still prefer writing the final copy myself.

How are you doing it? I am curious.

i mostly use it for repetitive tasks like summaries, ideas and basic data work. that's where i actually notice the time savings.

for me AI saves the most time when i already know what i want

if i ask it to do everything from zero i usually spend too much time fixing the output. but if i give it the raw idea and use it for research, comparing options or cleaning up the final version, thats where it actually saves me time

more like an assistant than a replacement

The saving tracks how cheaply you can check the output, not how fast it's produced. If verifying costs about as much as writing it yourself, you've only moved the work. Tasks with a right answer, a fixed format, or a loud failure are where the hours actually come back.

Research and summarizing save me the most time. I can get through a bunch of information much faster and then verify the important parts myself.

Yes, AI can save marketers time, especially with research, content ideas, data analysis, and repetitive tasks. But human strategy and review are still essential for quality results.

If you already have skills for something, then using AI can speed up the process, but except for "speeding up the process," I believe AI does nothing more for anyone.

For me personally, using AI has rarely produced any kind of result.

For example, if I need to write an article, then
-I am the one who comes up with all the points that I am about to explain.
-I am the one who writes the beginning for all the points.

AI just helps me finish sentences faster, but even then, that sucks because I usually write in flow.
So, in the end, using AI rarely saves me any significant amount of time.

I get what you're saying but don't you review the code yourself though?
