Question about creating an ebook

Hi BHW, I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, the admins can move it to the appropriate section if needed.

I'm currently writing my ebook, but I have a huge problem: I've done a few design tests so far, and I don't really like any of them. I tried using Canva, and honestly, it looks terrible.
I think the content of my ebook is pretty good, so I’d like the design to be on par with the content. So yeah, i need idea to make it better

Check out a bunch of good ebooks in your niche before designing yours.... you will get a better idea of what actually looks good by comparing real ebooks instead of canva templates

that will be great but Instead of trying to add too many elements, focus on a clean cover, readable fonts, and consistent spacing throughout. Sometimes a minimalist layout looks much more professional than an overly designed one.

Just out of curiosity, what software or website do you use to create ebooks?

I've been checking out some paid ebook designs over the past few weeks, and I really didn't like them. Sometimes they're even barely readable.

Just use GPT Astra
Ask for multiple variations

There is a variety of AI tools that can help you, there are ebook makers and there are tools for designs and such. I'm even sure Canva also has an AI that you can use. You were using the normal version, right?
