The account was repurposed, it used to be for personal development, and after some time without use, it now was changed to an OF model. I posted some photos, but they have very few likes. The account has 14k followers.

Is there any way to reactivate engagement? maybe a bot?

Honestly I wouldn’t use a bot, it usually ends up hurting the account more than helping. Since you already have 14k followers, it’s probably just about getting the account active again. Try posting consistently for a bit and engaging with comments and stories, sometimes it just takes a little time for the engagement to come back.
 
if you have deleted all your old content in single day and change username then ig wont let you grow instantly.
you need little push. run some paid ads oy buy some shoutout.
 
Engagement usually drops when the niche changes, so the audience may no longer be interested. Best approach is to post consistently, use Reels, and interact with followers through stories and comments to warm the account again.

Growth tools can help a bit, but real engagement comes from fresh, relevant content.

There's no way to reactivate the account because you have changed niches thus the audience is not interested in the OF niche. I suggest posting more consistently, with more quality content and getting new followers slowly.
 
Try posting 3-4 reels a day for 2 weeks, if doesn't work just create a new account, that one won't be revived

it would be almost like starting an account all over again, since it already has 14k followers. the followers might not be interested in what u want to talk about now, which is y the number of followers is not really accurate. post frequentlly and try out different types of posts to see how many people who are not followers are seeing ur content.

Yeah, definitely. I wouldn’t use a bot though—it could actually make things worse. Since the account already has 14K followers, I’d focus on warming the audience back up with consistent posts, stories, and engaging content. It may take a little time, but the existing audience can be reactivated.....
 
Using a bot won't help in your case. It is only natural for engagement to be low right after resuming activity. you simply need to keep posting consistently, and engagement will return to previous levels.
 
OF accounts usually use a notorious mother slave account strategy to automate actions to a target audiance, to maximize your reach. it is bit of an aggressive method, but it does work. look into it more.
 
Keep posting useful content that fits your audience. Stay active by replying to real comments and keeping your posts natural. Give the account some time to become active again.
 
Your account has been inactive for a long time, so you should update it by regularly uploading videos on relevant topics and using secondary accounts to share and interact with your main account to keep it lively and restore its activity after a long period.
