This is not a wise solution in my opinion. Eventually, those making comments will also realise that their comments are being used as articles. It is like cheating them.

Creative idea I must say. What niche are you working if you can disclose ? I want to know if good comments are common in all niches or some specific ones.

User Generated Content adds another signal to search engines. I would leave it that way, in my opinion.

Reddit comments can be a goldmine for content ideas too. People are already asking questions and sharing problems so there is plenty to work with
of course. the comments section is capable of telling u where the weaknesses of the article lie almost immediately. some questions posted by the readers might actually become better topics for discussion than ur initial topic bcz of the exissting interest.
