Always check search intent first to make sure your post actually matches what people want to see.
After that, just double check that your main keyword is in the Title and H1 tag.

Check if another page on your site is targeting the same keyword. This can make both pages compete with each other.

I will check the keyword targeting first and the content matches the keywords and search intent. Then internal links, title/H1 tag, topics covered.
