Do hashtags still help on TikTok?

since algorithms and their detection system has gotten so good at visually searching for what kind of content is being posted and from the captions as well and from the like text caption in the post as well they can detect what kind of post is being posted So hashtags has become basically irrelevant you can add up to five hashtags and it might help with the seo For example if somebody searches Tik tok hashtag skincare products then your uh will be included in those hashtag searches Similar with the Google Because apparently Google is also recommending Tiktok videos when somebody asks for recommendations

Hashtags are very useful for optimizing TikTok videos and increasing their chances of appearing in search results for relevant content.
 
use hashtags wisely not wildly. make sure to add relevant keywords to the title and description. also, get likes comments shares as soon as you posted. it works on every platform to gain momentum.
 
good content still perform well without stuffing a lot of hashtags the content matters much more than how many hashtags you use.

I experienced it with my videos with and without hashtags; it definitely helps. Use relevant hashtags; they can help your videos get more reach.
 
Yes hashtags can help with discovery but more hashtags don’t always mean more reach also testing a few relevant ones is usually better.
 
We’ve noticed using a few relevant hashtags works better for us than stuffing loads of random ones, but have you seen a diff on your tiktok reach?
 

For TikTok, I'd mainly use hashtags to give context to the content and help categorize it, rather than expecting a hashtag to generate lots of views by itself​
