How much will you donate for a good cause if it really help someone

I would still wanna know who is getting the money and what percent.
Have you noticed anyone asking for donations don't reveal what percent will actually go to cause or the intended people.

90% of NGO, non profit donations goes to expanses, employee salaries etc only 10% actuality goes to the cause. It's not bribe or corruption.

Yepp. Bro right . Not even 10%. Slowly it becomes a place to get everyone money from you and It will stop reaching even 5% slowly everytime. Decreasing to 1%

And really donation is all about silently helping the needy people thats it

Its not about how much because its more about what possible way we can.

I dont put any ads. This is lounge section.

I asked it anyhow , dont know , it just come to my mind. My purpose was not to raise any funds nor need any money.

God made me happy
I donate to my govt in the form of taxes. Will do more if I earn more in additional to taxes

You misunderstood @Yupwork talking about the people who run ads for donations

He is not pointing you or saying anything mate about your asked question.

I misinterpreted. My fault
I also never trust these type of ads who ask for donation.
As concerned with family relatives I dont feel it good. Most of that will go to my blood or in my contacts. It will come selfishness.
Although they will be transparent to me but still I will not like to give it to friend or family.
Some people are meant to be very helpful that we need to find...
But whoever friend has helped me when I was in tough times definitely we should think of them in the list of people that we can help

I guess helping and donating are both different concept

But the universe is the greatest witness to all helpers and donators to make their life shine and healthy. good luck to you as well for being an good helper.

Don’t fool yourself. To them, you’re nothing more than a source of cash. Once the money stops, so does their interest in you.

At first place never donate via ngo's or some social communities rather do it by yourself by helping the poor by providing them food , clothes , medication etc.
do everything and anytime by your own will.
hope thats make more sense to you.

Donating is not so simple. Sometimes you will find that the person asking money will use if for a different t purpose later. Which kinds of makes the donator look like a fool.

These days there are different kind of systems in place to look as genuine donation needy people. In reality, even those who really need help fail to gain trust.
 
Will do it.

Doesn’t matter how, to who or the amount.

Being there for someone who needs it can mean seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

It can mean anything or EVERYTHING!

It is not money always to donate everytime. You can use money to buy donating items by which there will be no misuse, nobody can do it. Like blanket in winters
