What is the future of YouTube shorts per 1000 views ?

short videos will pay as much long form content.one reason there just is not the same room for ads so earning potential is usually lower

I think comparing 1000 shorts views with 1000 long form views is not right because they are different. Shorts can reach millions of views very fast, while long form is harder, but each viewer has more value. I would use shorts for volume and long form for revenue

The more people producing such content, the lower the revenue, i have no expectations for that kind of junk video. I only care about videos that offer real value, as watch time is what determines their revenue.

Short videos have no chance of generating as much RPM as longer videos, simply because YouTube can't possibly cram enough ads into those incredibly short clips.

I don't see shorts matching long-form RPM anytime soon. Shirts are better for reach than moving that audience into longer videos or other offers.

Shorts can bring in a lot of views, but the pay per 1,000 views is often low. The amount can change based on the viewers and the content. There is no fixed rate for every 1,000 views.

Currently the earning with shorts per 1000 views is very less compared to long form videos . What are your expectations for this in future ? Will short videos pay equivalent to long form content in future ?
YouTube pays very little for shorts from the start, so shorts per 1000 views in any niche or region will be less. You can get benefit of shorts in order to get subscribers and engagement, and then redirect those subscribers to your long-form videos.

I don't think the budget for short videos will ever match or exceed that of standard videos. The reason is that advertisements usually appear only in long videos.

shorts will not ever pay the same as long videos.there simply less space for ads so the earning potential is usually lower

Videos that are longer always generate more revenue because they can show more ads, so YouTube naturally makes more money from them. YouTube Shorts get more views and subscribers.
