Exactly. I think a smaller number of genuinely useful articles is much easier to maintain and improve over time.

I don't think every site needs to publish the same number of articles. If someone can write 30-50 useful posts without rushing, that's fine. But if the quality starts to drop, I'd rather write 10 high quality posts and keep publishing regularly.

It depends on your planning with the blog. Like if you want to make it a authority blog , you will have to plan lot of articles from beginning.

i am doing 8 to 10 per month on my new site and it feels enough. before i tried 40 per month and most of them were never indexed,, so many articles is only useful if google is fetching them. now i publish less and spend the other time to get links to what i publish

i think starting 10 to 20 good articles is enough. f you keep optimizing them properly and improving content over time the website can keep getting better
