As the tittle says, also how much will cost to add casino script like slots and etc...

Thanks in advance

I think there are so many pre-built templates available to start a betting website. if you want to customize the features, it'll cost you around $10,000.

Yes, but it does need api for odds.

10k is way too low amount to start it.

I'm talking about the customization of the existing script. If you wish to start from scratch, it'll be much more than $10,000. It depends on the difficulty level of the application. We can only decide once we start the project.

I created a sports betting site with api included in 1k, yes, 1k seems very little money and for some it can even be a scam hahaha, but for us from third world countries, if with 1k I had a literal party hahaha for 10k I don't know what I would do, believe me! Clearly the site would be perfect, and without being criticized, for 10k I would do it from scratch, but well, that's why I love BHW because it gives you a totally different perspective to business and changes your work mentality 360 degrees.

I know that creating a website will not cost much, but API will cost much, it will need 100s of sports odds, thats not $10 per month.

It is not really that it costs or not to create a website, the thing here is, which depends a lot on the skills of the programmer, the time given to the project, the complexity of the site, which in this case is quite complicated, other factors such as internet expenses etc. also influence.

the expensive part is if you wanna have it professional, you need a gambling license, company registrations and the government wanna have taxes

This. This is where the real problems starts. You have to deal with rules and regulations.

License here costs $100k per 10 year, I can find investor for this, but I have to show him a demo, that's why I asked this question.

You can look up the following on codecanyon

Prophecy - An Online Betting Platform

Crypto Casino | Slot Machine | Online Provably Fair Gaming Platform

Anything around $10K-$100K, a ton of ruined human lifes & an eternity in hell :)

The cost to create an online betting platform typically ranges from $10,000 to $200,000+, depending on features, complexity, and platform compatibility. Working with experts in sports betting app development ensures a secure, scalable, and feature-rich solution tailored to your needs.

There are a few cracked licensed games floating around on the web

The cost of creating an online betting platform is a complex question with no single, easy answer. It's like asking how much a car costs – it depends heavily on the make, model, features, and customization. Several key factors influence the final price:

  • Platform Complexity: A simple platform with basic betting options will be cheaper than one with live streaming, in-play betting, multiple language support, and integrated payment gateways. Consider the specific features you want to offer.
  • Software Development: Custom development offers maximum flexibility but is the most expensive route. White-label solutions (pre-built platforms) can be cheaper initially, but may lack customization and have ongoing fees.
  • Licensing and Regulations: Gambling regulations vary wildly by jurisdiction. Acquiring the necessary licenses is a major cost, and compliance requirements can add to development expenses.
  • Security: Robust security is paramount. Protecting user data and financial transactions requires significant investment in security infrastructure and regular audits.
  • Design and User Experience: A user-friendly and visually appealing platform is crucial for attracting and retaining customers. Professional design and UX/UI development can be a substantial cost.
  • Maintenance and Support: After launch, you'll need ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, updates, and customer support. Factor these recurring costs into your budget.

In short, I am developing a online betting platform range from $8000 to $12000 for a complex, feature-rich platform.

Of course, cracked versions do exist, but they may contain malware or altered files. It’s better to use only reliable sites and scan all downloads, especially on your primary computer

the tbf demo is the cheap element the cost of risk in food provisioning, payments, licensing, security nd maintenance represents the actual cost. most people undervalue the element of maintenance, I think.

Depends. You need a lot to start a licensed sportsbook or casino.

The software for the website, the Anjou license (cheapest) seems better than Caracoa for cost now and the ongoing maintenance. Coupons, payouts, marketing and other fees. You are looking at 100K regularly to get this type of thing up. I have looked into software providers. You could start Belize IBC/Costa Rica Co and hold the license, even the cheapest is 17K a year or so.

Software provider like Betconstruct take a rake of profits too. There is one lifetime software for casino games package, costs a lot 40K for the package and you host on VPS and setup the rest.

I could start a unlicensed book probably for 2K and run it with big profits quick, though that is not in the law, so I do not try it. The states are slowly opening up to gambling because they spent all of our money on waste. Still its not a pretty picture. Now some the software providers have license and you would get sub license included I hear, this sounds good though though outfits want a cut aka rake of 10% of profits or so.

The sportsbook and casino software are quite automated for taking bets, compared to manual methods of the past.
I have my own custom card game I am trying to patent with a utility patent, hopefully it gets put on tables/VP machines and more of a product line after.
Custom casino game quote I got for development is 25K, then its a VP game or some such
From a player standpoint I know most the games inside and out, you could even say Im on the level of an advantaged player. Ive been playing since 8 rummy, poker, blackjack and more (war/bunko). When you get so good at dealing, shuffling such you almost become a natural card mechanic, especially with some counting techniques.
Cheapest you could maybe do it 25K on a sub license with a split, that estimate may be low though so check providers. Good luck.

I ran the numbers a couple times. I can create custom Sports App, though to run it legit I would need to get the license and have the application certified.

Advantaged Play methods:
-Coupons/Match | Free Pools / Giveaways
-BJ Counting/Baccarrat Counting
-100% VP Machines - Comps
-Arbitrage | Picks * / Misc Adv. Methods for Sports (+Picks resell)
-Skill Games (Rummy/Poker/Custom)(Backgammon)
-****Dice Setting (Not fully proven, am testing)

It really depends on whether you’re using a ready made casino script or building/customizing everything from scratch.

Basic scripts can be relatively affordable, while licensed games, payment integration, security and ongoing maintenance can push the total cost much higher.

The cost of a real-money betting platform featuring sportsbook with casino games varies enormously in particular if you rely on a white-label solution vs a solution built from the ground up.

Here are some approximate 2026 numbers:

White-label sportsbook/casino: $10,000, $100,000+ to launch, plus monthly fees and/or revenue share.

Turnkey platform: $50,000, $400,000+ first-year investment.

Custom-built sportsbook + casino: $300,000 to several million dollars, according to features, compliance, and markets.

It is all about budget and what kind of sources we need to implement and Traffic targets.
