What's your main traffic source for a blog now?

Google continues to do the heavy work for me but i would not use it exclusively anymore. A gud reddit or pinterest performance can yield surprising levels of traffic when the content matches these social networks requirements.

I have been spending a lot of time on short form videos content and forum seeding because Google was become deserted to me these past few days. Search traffic is no longer reliable enough by itself anymore.

Same story. Google is the main source, but Reddit and social media can also bring good referral traffic. Multiple traffic sources make the site less dependent on just one channel.

mixed organic SEO with community building through seeding. The truth is that posting useful content to relevant sub reddits generates better converting traffic than SEO these days anyway.
I have Google nd there is no denying it, but what I have observed is that traffic from the community seems to be overlooked sometimes. If u create a gud post in the right forum, then getting the target visitors would not be difficult at all.
organic google is the foundation of passive traffic generation, but let’s face it – you are going to close sales through reddits nd newsletters. depending on google updates alone could prove to be devastating.

shikaanio nailed it. search is indeed incredible at getting steady background traffic but your users would not come to you except through email marketing lists and subreddit.

Same deal here. Google works well for continuous traffic, whereas social and Reddit will get you that initial boost through a new post.

For my blog, organic search is still an important traffic source, but I also use social media, Reddit, and direct visitors. I prefer having multiple sources because it reduces dependence on one platform and creates more stable traffic over time.

For me, google still be the main traffic driver, but I don't treat it as only channel. Search brings more consistent intent-based traffic, while Reddit, social, and communities work well for discovery and referral traffic. I prefer building multiple sources rather than depending entirely on one.

Reddit and Pinterest are great traffic sources if you structure them well.

Google is still the main traffic source, but referral traffic is even more valuable if it comes from relevant communities; like a few targeted referrals from Reddit, other niche forums, or social postings but not chasing traffic from every platform one knows..........

The best channel depends on the niche; I test several, track conversions rather than clicks, then double down where the audience already engages.
