peptides are basically short sequences of amino acids joined together. They have become a major trend thanks to the fitness & wellness industries that recommend specific peptides for muscle gains, quicker recovery, burning fat, and even anti-aging, but this evidence largely depends on the type of peptide involved and at the moment the market is experiencing enormous growth mostly in the UK

I would not say just UK, its world wide popularity. GLP-1's are very popular for obvious reasons. Something like Retitrutide being very popular in fact i would say its probably the most popular Peptide atm even though its not even legal yet.

Agreed things like BPC157, GHK Cu, Melanotan 2 there are lot of products to be considered and it can be defined in different locations with conditions.
Yeah, the way they are going they are probably going to be significant. its a pretty popular space atm sort of booming but its black-market still. i think because peptides are so popular that popularity will self govern FDA approval because money talks. Thing is peptides legally will most likely be to expensive and drive up prices. In Australia to get something like Ozempic you need to pay like 600 dollars a month unless you have severe health issue like diabetes, where as i can go on black market and get it for like 150 for 10 months supply. if you can prove you have severe health issue that falls under the legislation then you can get a subsidy perscription for 25 dollars a script but that is going to be low dose.
either way you looking at black market for costs while being able to make your own doses.
I think this area of medicine is set for being like fountain of youth with limited side effects. We will probably see them being very common in the next 10 years and they are already very popular now, with areas like type 2 diabetes being very low compared to being a pandemic right now. Also more people walking around looking jacked and younger for longer into old age.
Not sure what its like in other country, but the news here has been fear mongering putting out content about how many young people re dying on peptides. Well that is what happens when you OD something and also i think its just fear mongering because the aus govt wants to control everything here so they reap all the money.

Haha... bro, at least your biology class wasn't completely wasted after all. Peptides are short chains of amino acids, but the interesting part is how exact sequence gives them different functions. concept isn't new at all lets take gastrin, a peptide hormone that helps regulate stomach acid during digestion.
