Hi guys&girls,
We run a few adult sites (in eastern central Europe) and have accepted credit card payments for years. Most transactions are small, adding up to around €5k per month.
We were fully transparent with our processors from the beginning—first with a Spanish high-risk provider, then with a Netherlands-based one. We have completed KYC for years and could provided all company and compliance documents if needed. In the past 10+ years, we have had zero chargebacks and maybe one or two refunds per years initiated from our customer support. Our content includes both professional content, with full contracts, and amateur content, we do not have underage, r*pe, AI, fecal or any kind of... "unique" content.
We comply with GDPR, pay our taxes, and operate through a legitimate company. We have also happily cooperated with a few police requests (as the biggest amateur site in our contry) related to revenge-porn reports when it slipped through our moderation, all ended well, we do not had any issues or fine with the authorities not then, not ever. We consider ourselves a very reliable merchant. (But probably every shady guy says the same.. :/ )
Still, our first provider dropped us after 6–7 years without warning. Then, after another 1–2 years, the Netherlands-based provider dropped us as well. The final issue seems to have been a few of light urine-related content—less than 0.1% of our total catalog. We do not consider it particularly serious, but apparently the provider - and Mastercard - did.
At this point, we are tired of trying to fit into processors’ changing (usually for the more stricter) rules. We still want to handle taxes and customers properly (our sites are over 25+ years old so brand-value is high), but we are looking for a cloaked payment provider that can accept the real nature of our content and does not suddenly terminate accounts after years of good history.
(We have tried cloaking with a new stripe account but we probably we weren't prepared for that so we are busted.)
Any recommendations for reliable adult-friendly cloaking credit card payment providers in Europe?
