Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share something good I came across a couple of weeks ago: a way to start reselling non voip numbers for SMS verification using your own brand, without having to code or integrate provider APIs yourself. Ovbiously without using Claude Code / Codex, etc

Some of you probably already use services like TextVerified, GetaText, FoxSims or MajorPhones. Usually, i buy numbers from x provider to verify my accounts. But what if we could offer those services thought ourown web? thats souynds great!!

That’s the part I wanted to explore, so I put together this WT using this web app: smsrouter.app.

What is SMSRouter, and where does the reseller option come in?
SMSRouter brings several SMS verification providers together in one platform. Its like a OpenRouter of SMS verificaiton services. The idea is to access their services from one place instead of switching between separate websites. Availability and prices still depend on the service and the providers, of course.

But the feature that caught my attention is in the left sidebar: Resell ---> Start your brand.

This lets you create a branded storefront connected to the platform’s catalog. You set your selling prices, while SMSRouter handles the provider integrations, payment collection and hosting. Your only work is attract customers and this will be very easy using correct marketing solutions...

STEPS:

1. Creating the brand

Clicking Start your brand opens this form:

form1.png

Here, you choose your brand name and subdomain, and you can add a customer support email.

For this test, I entered BHW as the brand name and bhw as the subdomain. That gives us:

bhw.smsrouter.app

Of course, you can configure the DNS settings on GoDaddy so that your brand name appears as bhw.io instead of bhw.smsrouter.app—or whatever else you can think of. But to do this, you'll need to purchase a domain.

The form checks whether the subdomain is available before you create it. You can start with that address and connect your own domain later if you want.

Once everything is filled in and you’ve accepted the partner terms, click Create my brand.

2. Reseller dashboard
After creating the brand, you will get this panel:

This is where you manage your storefront. There are separate tabs for customers, orders, deposits, pricing, support, settings and billing.

The dashboard also shows your customer count, recent orders, earned margin and the amount payable to you. Everything is at zero in my screenshot because this is a fresh test brand.

The pricing step is where the resale model comes in. You add your markup to the platform’s base price, and customers order through your branded website.

For example, if the base price of a number were $0.50 and you added a 40% markup, the customer price would be $0.70. The extra $0.20 would be your markup on that order. This is just an example...

3. What does the customer-facing website look like?
Opening the new subdomain gives you this storefront:

As you can see, the brand name is already BHW, but the initial design looks very similar to the original SMSRouter website.

It gives you a working starting point, although you’ll probably want to customize it before promoting your brand.

Back in the reseller panel, open Settings:

Here, you can change your brand name, tagline, business details, support email and legal page links.

For the appearance, you can choose a preset color palette or enter your own colors for the background, accents and links. There’s also a preview so you can see how the combination looks before saving.

One useful option is the choice between Pixel and Classic.

For my test, I first changed a little the design.

4. Setting your prices and markup
Now let’s move to Pricing, which is where you define how much you earn from each order.

You can choose between two pricing modes:

  • Percentage: add a percentage on top of the platform’s base price.
  • Fixed amount: add a flat dollar amount to each order.
You can configure these separately for Shorts (short-term verification numbers) and Rentals. This is useful because you might want a different markup for a single verification than for a longer rental.

There’s also an optional minimum markup per order, plus a field for per-service overrides. So you can give a particular service, such as WhatsApp, its own markup instead of using the general setting. After making your changes, click Save pricing. The panel says changes apply to new orders, rather than orders already placed.

However, one downside I noticed is that there doesn’t seem to be an option to set different markups for individual providers.

Personally, I think this would be useful. If I wanted to make one provider’s numbers more competitive than another’s, I’d want to adjust their prices separately. Per-service overrides give us some flexibility, but they don’t solve that particular issue.

5. Billing
The panel separates your total balance from your customers’ unspent balance, which it calls float. That distinction matters: customer funds that haven’t been spent are reserved for their future orders. They aren’t your earnings to withdraw.

You can see a separate Available to withdraw now figure, so you know how much is actually payable to you.

To request a payout, enter the amount, select the network and provide your USDT address. The options shown are:
  • TRON (TRC-20)
  • BNB Smart Chain (BSC / BEP-20)
The screenshot also shows a $10 minimum withdrawal, and the panel says payouts are processed manually. So this is a withdrawal request, rather than an instant automatic transfer.

And that's all, ovbiously i'm skipping a lot of things, but if you're interested in this, check their site and ask support for help. As for profits, it all depends on how many people visit your page and purchase the service. You don't need anything to get started— to create your own brand. Basically, all you need is a domain name and, of course, a little money in your account so that the purchases people make can be deducted from your balance, but you can easily get started with just $5 in your account.

Excellent guide, but I thinl that the really hard part would be to get the traffic

Non Voip are not virtual numbers.

There is way more undergo than just a simple UI.

to resell you need to find a provider, today everyone say they are providers, while only 1% are providers and 99% are resellers (in the best case), otherwise you won't be able to compete on price. Customers are not stupid, they will go for the cheapest price, even 0.01$ difference and you lose the customer, so you cannot just find someone who offer an API, add 40% and hope to sell.

Traffic is the most expensive part of this journey.

today you can just ask claude to build you an UI for your API and thats all, what to do next is the catch...

I went through all the process and what's showing here is not even 10% of you need to make your first sale (not theoritacally, but practially).

A few things: While it's true that to make money in this you have to monetize it—and that part can end up being quite complicated (depending on your skills to pull it off)—this post isn't a magical guide to making money without effort; you have to invest some brainpower to get traffic. After all, you can find plenty of information on this forum on how to do this on your own.

It's also not entirely true that "today you can just ask claude to build you an UI for your API and thats all, what to do next is the catch..." because sure, it'll build it for you, but the number of security glitches will be easily exploited by people who know how to abuse them.

And yes, it's true that there are a lot of resellers right now, but unless you're a compulsive buyer of numbers, I don't think you know the whole price catalog by heart, especially when you add the fact that most websites change their prices practically every 5 minutes.

So I think that as long as you don't abuse your profit margin, you'll be able to sell without any problem. Obviously, you won't be able to sell to someone who buys 5,000 WhatsApp numbers a day from you, because that type of client will compare prices, which isn't the common denominator

To get clients is a real factor.

claude can do everything, and even fix security glitches.

The problem is to get customers, because everyone compare prices, top platforms compete for customers and dump prices as much as they can...

Second problem is to get a stable and non scamming provider, because reselling top platforms isn't a good idea (nobody will buy)...

You can add 100$ on your providers balance, and next day he is gone with your money and other peoples money... Exit scams are way more common than mediatizated sms activate exit scam.

Not trying to demotivate, because I am a provider myself for many platforms since I have the lowest prices, but I want people to understand what they will face.

If someone is ready to enter, welcome, but before losing your time you must understand what is it all about.

Thanks for share. I tried this, but i see the only payment method is cryptocurrency... It's a little restrictive.
