Are the billions of dollars flowing into memecoins helping to sustain market liquidity during a sluggish period,
or is it merely a massive casino tarnishing the image of Web3 technology?
I would really like to hear everyone's personal views on cryptocurrency.

It’s a mix of both. Memecoins bring heavy speculative volume and liquidity to the market, but they mostly operate like a fast casino that hurts crypto's overall reputation.

Memecoins get hyped when the market is trendy to generate the liquidity from actual crypto market

Both are true. Most memecoin projects lure users into investing and then cash out, leaving investors as easy targets.

Yeah, that’s because I would view them as a high risk gamble instead of an easy money scheme. Verifying liquidity, token allocation and who is controlling the contracts will help you avoid a number of obvious pitfalls.

For me memecoins are basically a betting game for most people. I don’t really see any real utility behind them. It’s mostly speculation, hype and trying to get in before everyone else does.

Meme coin is used to attract newbies and short-term investors.
If you've been in the market long enough and are holding a spot, nobody invests too much in meme coin. BTC is king, ETH is queen
