Disappointed with Rankerx - what about GSASER?

yeah most rnakerx links end up no follow GSA verified lists are mixed but still a lot of no follows you have to filter hard or its the same problem

First, you need to understand how these tools work. If someone fails with the strategy, they will be disappointed and frustrated with what they've done and how they've used them. It's not a blame on the tools themselves. I rarely use Ranker X because I don't like the UI and how slow it works (I own more than 600 domains and currently at least 350 websites are active with links being built daily). But that doesn't mean Ranker X isn't working. I use GSA SER every day and own multiple copies, plus at least a single license of many link building tools because I never outsource link building (I can't simply trust it, and I'm unable to troubleshoot if a site struggles somewhere in the journey since we don't see all the health status of link building campaigns we purchase).

Buy GSA SER if you have a solid SEO strategy that can be automated. I myself focus on tiered link building and do tiers 1 to 3 all with tools, however I build tier 1 manually or semi-auto while using a few platforms like articles and forums from selected engines and link lists from GSA, and sometimes use Money Robot since they contain some permanent do-follows. No matter what, you must index tier 1 or pass silent signals to tier 1. However, if your strategy requires 100% do-follow links from niche edits, of course you'll be disappointed with Ranker X. If the tool works fine with no engine failures and builds links as you chose, and you get no results, that's not the tool's responsibility. I would suggest you do better niche research and develop a good strategy before starting automation.

Going back to your question about indexing tier 2, since nobody answered it and it is the most important thing in this thread....

No, you do not need those tier 2 links indexed. Crawled and indexed are two different things and people mix them up constantly. A tier 2 link does its job the moment the page it sits on gets crawled, because that crawl is what leads the bot to your tier 1. Whether that tier 2 page ever lands in the index is irrelevant. This is also why paying an indexer for lower tiers is mostly wasted money, you end up paying to index pages whose only job was to be a road.

On the nofollow thing, the answer you got was accurate in about 2018. Google changed nofollow from a directive to a hint in 2019 and announced it publicly, and it has been treated as a hint since. But forget the announcement and just look at where nofollow links actually live. Wikipedia, Reddit, Quora, YouTube descriptions, most news sites, nearly every social platform. Some of the most valuable placements on the internet are nofollow by default. If nofollow genuinely passed nothing, nobody would be paying for Reddit placements, and people pay a lot for them.

Where RankerX actually let you down is the job you gave it. Those links were never tier 1 material. Point them straight at a money site and you will see nothing, which is exactly what happened. Point them at something that already links to your money site and they do fine. i own a RankerX lifetime licence and still use it for web 2.0s. Good tool, wrong layer.

GSA SER is where i do most of my building and the reason is purely cost. One time fee around $99, xevil is also one time, then your only running costs are a VPS, proxies and a link list. Call it $100 a month for everything. Set against buying links at $50 to $300 each and needing dozens per project, it stops being a comparison. i build 300-500 contextual links per tier and a few thousand on the lower tiers, across as many projects as i want, for that same flat cost. It runs overnight and i check on it weekly. The saving is not the price per link, it is that the cost stops scaling with volume at all.

Worth saying i run GSA on all tiers, money sites included, with tight filters and proper content. i know others here build tier 1 manually and only automate below it. Both approaches work, it comes down to how disciplined your filtering and content are.

Last thing, be careful hunting for vendors selling only ******** indexed links. A natural profile is mostly nofollow. Anyone offering you 100% ******** from DA50 sites is either selling links from sites that exist purely to sell links, or not telling you what the attribute really is. That is a far bigger footprint than any nofollow ever was.
This is a goldmine reply. Those who are blindly believing or just saying without trying, and keep parroting that tiered link building or automation doesn't work - many of them are just trying to sell some backlink service or speaking without actually trying or understanding it properly.

The no follow and do follow explanation is mind-blowing and a nice point.

I heavily depend on GSA SER and Ranker X. Since I don't own a Ranker X lifetime license, I buy it a few times a year and love it. However, nowadays GSA SER with custom engines and a good link list is cost-effective, but both are great tools. If someone fails, it means they're not doing it right - maybe bad niche, no patience, or broken tier structure.

Yes, a lot of GSA SER verified links can still be nofollow. Being on a verified list doesn’t necessarily mean the link passes SEO value. If you’re specifically looking for ******** backlinks, you’ll need to filter the platforms/engines carefully rather than relying on verified lists alone.
Sure, verification only indicates that the post was accepted by the platform; it does not mean anything about the SEO value of the link. You should look at the attributes and indexing of the actual link.

If you don't have patience or you don't have a strategy where you can manually do it and still fail, then yes, you're going to be disappointed with every single tool on earth. Tools are meant to make things easier by automating, which is what exists. Bad, careless driving has nothing to do with the vehicle; it's the driver. Ranker X is a great tool and they use platforms/sites which are already indexed on Google. GSA Search Engine Ranker is much more advanced and much better than Ranker X, however, if you follow the wrong strategy, yeah, you're going to be disappointed. If you're new to SEO and you were paying for Ranker X monthly, then I would suggest you grab GSA SER and test it out because it comes with a one-time fee and no rush to learn. Spend at least two or three months with the tool to get used to it. Also, don't try to scrape yourself on your first attempt; buy a link list and a good, hard captcha solver. If you have no clue on XEvil (which is highly recommended) as a first attempt, grab a cloud service for the first few months. GSA is a super advanced tool and worth every penny.

SEONEO is super expensive & recurring but Rankerx is one-time charge only. That's why i will use Rankerx only.
Anyway, heard that SEONEO is already not active.

If i run a 3 or 4 tiers campaign & have limited budget for indexing service, which tier should i prioritise - is it Tier1?

SEO NEO is not worth it at all. I wonder how much Ranker X costs for a lifetime now? I rarely use Ranker X anymore since I mainly depend on GSA SER.

Can someone guide me on GSA SER:
- how to set up GSA SER parameter or is there a vendor who can set up for me?
- where to buy list for a particular niche?
- I emailed to [EXTERNAL CONTACT DETAILS REMOVED] to buy XEvil. There is no reply. I could not find any info on how to buy it.

1 how to set up GSA SER parameter or is there a vendor who can set up for me?

Don't do that. You're the one who knows your niche - what kind of anchor texts to target, how many brandable anchors you should use, etc. And after all, it's the AI era. Why do you want someone to set it up when you can easily load up GSA SER content with one click by just asking a chat agent? You can even create an empty folder and have an agent do it on your behalf. It's cheaper, automated, and hands-free. Plus, you can connect Xevil and set up link links in a few minutes - it's set and forget. Why bother with outsourcing?

2 where to buy list for a particular niche?

You're misunderstanding how link building and tiered building work. Technically, it's a waste of time to find a niche-related target list - it's not needed at all. What mostly matters is creating content related to your niche within your campaign. Root domains and niche-related content are two different things. That said, if you're doing tiered link building, your entire backlink profile will be niche-related as long as you create niche-related content. That's what's most important. For tier 1s, of course you can do some niche edits - it's great to have a backlink from a niche-related root domain or platform, but it doesn't mean you need 100% niche-related links. It's not as important as how backlink citations actually work. For example, Reddit is a massive community, and search engines and AI engines still favor backlinks even if they're no-follow - they carry the same value as niche-related ones. That said, you can grab a global link list or ask a list seller and filter it out, but it's not recommended because you're going to lose so many targets. Instead, try building backlinks continuously with niche-related data.

3 I emailed to [EXTERNAL CONTACT REMOVED] to buy XEvil. There is no reply. I could not find any info on how to buy it.

You don't have to email anyone, and botmaster replies are slow. Try contacting them via Telegram, or I don't think you need to contact them at all - just go to their website and purchase. It's great software, but it's targeted at advanced users, so don't expect hand-held support there. Plus GSA SER and Xevil is a one click setup.

I have seen a lot of questions from you but I think you need some learning plus patience. SEO or automation or whatever you are into takes time to learn and don't fall or expect someone will help; try to learn yourself and try to stick to at least 4 - 5 website projects. Not every website is going to make money.

I wouldn’t judge link value from nofollow alone, but I’d still prioritize relevant, indexed placements with real traffic over automated backlink volume.

when I used Rankerx & checked Semrush, the backlink overview always show 'Dangerous' and the Network graph show lots of 'online services' category. That's why I thought the correct niche is important.

These always bothers me
- when i run a few campaigns for a moneysite, do i always use the same account set? (I have been using a new account set for each new campaign).
- do I use the same account set for a few moneysites?

If you have been working on SEO / link building etc you know how 3rd party matters fluctuate and i don't waste a thing on those semrush / ahrefs or whatever its . Just trust what your own eyes see mean the SERPS according to the niche. most of my sites detects as ton of spam links according to them guess what i never give a sh*t about them ... I even don't use them just using ahrefs webmaster to know basic keywords ideas for my own project and i don't want to use google products

Lot of things to recap on this thread seems some will still think that no follow has a no value at all for those instead of playing around fancy tools go and check SERPS for your own keyword and you will see and wonder 90% of citation they are pulling for citation / serps are just no follow .

No follow has it's own characteristic and value no matter what you are going to build you cant get 100% do follows and its not natural for link building at all. I don't think buying a niche related niche edit do follow is natural to google eye at all .

Yes, GSA lists have a ton of no-follow links too. You should only use these tools for tier 2 links to get your real links crawled faster. Pointing them straight to your money site is just a waste of time.

I don't really care those tools said...those are just 3rd party metrics. I wonder why people still using those just to analyze the market or judge the link building profile. If you really want to do it, at least use data for SEO kind of API integration data service that way at least you can save money, but I really don't care...

Semrush / Ahrefs good to understand the niche other than nothing for backlink analyze.

You need an account to register on site and submit. If you are working on same niche / single niche, you need to create one account for one unique domain and you can schedule with account set but it's no point to build same link repeating for same domain unless you want to warm up those links without link then later putting the link (inside GSA SER options you can easily do it).

I have seen many posts from you regarding these and I feel you still don't understand the strategy clear. You need 1 account for 1 specific niche. You can use same account set for different website for sure but why bother creating accounts, costs nothing, everything is automated.
