Paid traffic through imo is still the fastest way to get visitors if u need them right away, while white hat seo is the slow approach. black hat or gray hat traffic might get you a lot of visits but you will probably loses the website anyway.
For a completely new product I would definitely goes for the attraction rather than the ranking. It is easier to generate traffic through shorter content, community building and small paid trials than through SEO.
imo the fastest route was rarely a shortcut for SEO. draw attention from areas where ur audience was already present and then test what converts from ur first batch of traffic.
fast traffic and fast seo were not one and the same thing imho . If i had to get visitors in one week i would either tries a paid campaign with a little money or works on reaching out to my own people first.
but if speed is the thing then I would combine SEO with fast traffic sources communities, social media, partnerships etc. tbh black or can be gray hat will bring numbers faster, but watching the site vanish afterward is not what we need.
