twitter won't let me tweet, but i can do anything else

just three hours ago i was not only tweeting normally but also interacting with a mutual normally. i reply a tweet, i get notifications of them liking it, i open the notifications and suddenly every single notification by them dissapeared. but none of the other notifications, just theirs. without them being banned, or have blocked me, or anything among those lines. whatever, i try to tweet and i can't so i just assume i got limited and twitter kinds broke because of it.

i got to my tl, instinctively click save on a tweet i want to like later, think "wait, when you're limited tweets don't save lol" but i open my saves and the tweet was there. from there i discover i can like, retweet, save, comment... but not tweet.

is this an error anyone else is having? is been three hours and maybe is just a bug but everyone else seems to be tweeting normally so maybe is just my account and i got some secret kind of sb.

Have you contacted the support? What did they say about this issue?
 
Those are probably two separate things. One person's notifications vanishing at once is what it looks like when that account goes away, and it strips their interactions retroactively, which wouldn't touch your own posting. For the compose side, check whether you get an error text or a silent failure, since those point different ways.
 
Try posting from a mobile browser or switching to mobile data to rule out an IP block. If that doesn't work, you hit a hidden daily tweet threshold/automation limit. Leave the account untouched for 24 hours and it should fix itself
 
Clear your browser cache or switching to mobile data to see if it's an IP restriction. If it still doesn't let you tweet, you just hit X's internal daily post limit. Don't spam retweets either while you wait, or it might extend the timeout
 
Sounds more like a weird X bug or a temporary posting restriction than a full shadowban. If likes, reposts and saves still work, I’d give it some time before changing anything—did you check whether posting works from another device or the web version?
