Getting Leads But Most Are Not Good

This is my first post here, so I hope someone can help me with this issue.

I’m getting around 10–15 leads a day from one PPC campaign, so the numbers look okay at first.
The problem is that many of the leads are low quality and don’t turn into real customers.
What would you check in this case? Targeting, keywords, landing page, or something else?
How are you collecting the data?

Are you using a lead form extension, or are you having users fill out a form on your website? The quality of leads coming from form extensions can generally be poor. On this side, I recommend uploading all the good data you have into Customer Match and trying to optimize based on this audience. You can even use a similar audience based on this data. If you are collecting forms through your website, I definitely recommend adding a reCAPTCHA below the form. Bots may be filling them out automatically. Also, in addition to a few standard fields, try adding a few more questions and include a mandatory text field.

Best regards.

check the locations bringing the leads too. some areas can give you plenty of leads but very few real customers.

Often, it is the targeting that's the main problem. Your ads or landing page could be bringing in visitors who are interested, but not ready to buy. Just be more specific with your audience, keywords and price or specifications. Also, include an optional question on your form. This can decrease the amount of leads you receive, however the leads you do receive will be more relevant and are likely to be easier to convert.

Lead volume looks good, but quality matters more. Check your keyword intent, add negative keywords, and make sure your landing page attracts the right people.

If you have a number of leads, but they do not qualify, then you should examine your targeting, advertisement message, and landing page. You must make sure that the advertisement specifies which audience is targeted and that the form on the landing page uses some qualifying questions. You can also examine the sources of leads and data regarding the geographical location, device, and conversions.

Look at which locations are sending the low-quality leads and adjust targeting if needed.

test a higher price point or a stricter form to weed out low intent users.

It usually means that either your targeting strategy is too wide or the traffic is poor. Verify your audience parameters, sources of traffic, lead filtering criteria, and the sources of the leads.
