Hey guys,
I am currently running a Google Search campaign and getting a lot of irrelevant clicks that drain my budget.
How often do you usually audit your search terms and update your negative keyword list? Do you do it daily or wait for a few days to gather more data?
Thanks for any quick tips!

I normally check for my keywords daily when a campaign starts, then go down to every few days as my traffic gets cleaned up. Just make sure you’re not adding negatives too quickly since some “irrelevant” words may provide you with valuable variations.

for me i tend to pile it up for 3 days and add it to the negative keyword list so it wont be too frequent

the search terms report is where most budget waste hides and most people check it way less often than they should especially early on, adjust campaign every 2/3 days accordingly.

I usually check search terms quite frequently, especially when the campaign is new. In the beginning, I usually look at them Daily and add trems that are clearly irrelevant as negatives. Once the campaign is stable, checking 2-3 times a week is usually enough. Unless there is enough data to identify a specific pattern or trend, I quickly avoid adding negative terms.

I keep a separate list of common irrelevant terms and add them when they show up again.

I will update the negative keywords after the first $50–$100 of a new campaign; this is essential to avoid wasting too much money
