There are many ways to find content if you want to be an editor or follow a lead. You could edit videos for others, or you could create your own content, and brands will find you. That's the basic approach and focusing on the right industry you want to work in.

There are various ways for this I would suggest a not so popular yt or contact creator pick a video of their and make it more engaging more better looking and just send them. If they see it and they like it there are many chances of you getting money from them

From the credits link on your amazing portfolio of talent? If you are talented show if off so people find you, don't go around pecking about hoping for crumbs. Go were the obvious is on places like reddit to promote your stuff. Don't be spammy read rules and understand carefully.

I have the same question and have never found a stable platform for editing. I think the demand for video editing has gotten much lower.
