Yes, having both consistency and better thumbnails is certainly going to help make a difference. After figuring out what your audience clicks and watches, it becomes quite easy to work harder on those things.

Retention is a big bottleneck when people drop of after 15-20 seconds form your video, how improve this ? I don't know.
I like simple video good intro image and punchy titles and subtitles, description with chapters. Many adding a lot of slides in it don't kno whow they doing this that costs a lof of time, example; Joanna Wiebe, she has often a lot of slides in her videos maybe they doing only youtube or where they have that much time to adding funny animated slides in a video it's a lot of work !

Vidq tool or any others are not a help here because they adding unrelated slides and the more you editing each slide, the more credits it costs you.
I would keep it simple, a simple video you speak with a strong emotional punchy intro +substitles and have timeline chapters. Yes adding 2-3 related shorts to your video will help they are a booster to get much much more views. Do yt seo and add pain points of your audiences in your video and in the intro.

The other thing is local limits, means creators outside of usa will not get usa traffic, youtube will show their videos first to their small local audience they never get out of 200,300,500 views, I not have another theory for this whey many good videos not get more than 300, 500 views....

Learn from them it's not that hard; Alex Hormozi, Dan Koe, Joanna Wiebe, Alex Cottoni, watch and analyze how they structure their videos and intro.

interesting, i am going to try this with a few of our videos

consistency was the unexpected one honestly, wasn't even about quality improving that much just showing up on a predictable schedule seemed to build momentum
with the algorithm over a few months that random sporadic uploads never did before.

Improving the first few seconds and focusing more on retention made the biggest difference, coz getting people to actually keep watching changes everything.

YT indeed has that organic geo limit means: they know your home ip adress when it's not in US, they show each video first to your small local audience that's the bottleneck ,why then your video will stucked at 300,500 views....get buried...

I not understand all that hate against us non US creators, that's nowadays the "American culture" really?

The culture of elite US giants against humanity it is......fight them back!

Choosing the right niche and working consistently have helped me grow my YouTube channel steadily to where it is today.

For a new channel, I'd prioritize:
Topic, Thumbnail/Title, Hook, Retention and Repeat what works.
And I wouldn't obsess over subscriber count early. A small number of viewers who repeatedly watch your videos is much more valuable than a large number of inactive subscribers.

Vidio editing and graphic disigns are amazing prophetional that make human interested to do them

Yeah, I agree. It’s getting harder to get that initial push, so paying attention to what your audience is actually interested in and presenting it well makes a big difference.

I not understand all that "hate" against non US creators ? Why they not goive us access to US audience? Whereas the US creators are not have thad limit to other countries ! A shame to these criminal big tech giants.

Must spend another money on get good US 5G mobile proxy (ok that's not expansive) use it with the free powerads browser on PC.

But for Tiktok that's a more different game here- I need to buy a sceond hand android + an US sim card with US phone number + must setup an US vps with win server22 + powerads browser cnfigure the US proxies and second proxy with US sim card there.

Sick this game.

The idea, title, and thumbnail should be strong. Engaging hooks in the first 30 seconds drive the most effective growth on YouTube.

Consistency will not help when you are a non US creator and yt shows each of your video first to your small local country audience....most europe countries not so well engage in english content ,each country has a different language......

retention was probably the biggest one for me. once i started looking at where viewers dropped off my videos improved a lot.

It depends on the topic, but the first thing that makes me keep watching is if the video stands out from other creators being unique and original.

The click through rate (CTR) from the thumbnail and title, combined with the retention rate during the first 30 seconds, as these are the two core signals that determine whether the algorithm picks up the video for recommendations.

Truly having an interesting topic for my video proved to be much more effective than any other SEO technique. one particular videos captured what people were searching for and the other videos followed suited.
