No, I'm talking about Instagram accounts from 2012-2015. I can't reactivate them right now by performing a recovery.

link recovery email with any fb account or create fb account with that recovery email and then try to send reset link in instagram

Seems like they changed something in the backend then, But such old accounts anyways gives issues to login when you try after many years.

Yeah, I have noticed similar things lately. Instagram seems to be getting stricter with account creation and verification. Could be an update or just tighter checks on new accounts. The old tricks definitely don’t seem as reliable anymore

I think Instagram is trying to completely block the creation of aged accounts. I haven't found a new method yet.

the interesting part would be whether normal genuinely old accounts are also failing recovery
if those still recover fine but this method stopped across different setups at the same time, then it probably isnt just a bug. sounds more like meta changed something specifically around this flow

You should just buy an aged account, the price isn't high, and it saves you time don't try to use workarounds or tricks with the platform.

Yeah, I agree. It definitely feels like something has changed recently. The old methods don't seem to work anymore, so we'll probably need to find a new approach.
