Need health tips for sitting at a desk all day and staring at screens

Do some meditation in the early morning as its good for body and mind refreshment. and try to lower the screen time and if you can't for some reason then must use uv glasses and a stretcher band for your back. Good luck

Unrelated question? are you fr?

uv glasses you need if you having more screen time for your eyes protection

an stretcherband you need to keep you back born in line most important if you sitting daily for hours and hours on a chair.

meditation you need to relax your mind and body both to so you can feel energetic and refreshed.

I am trying to be active in my free time

oh... okay. you got me wrong. unrelated question was about your message count. i guess the back bone issue is not very serious since I workout daily. However, I really appreciate your tip for glasses. I knew i needed one of those but really didn't have the momentum. i'm gonna get it this time

Recently I stay most of the daytime staring at screen of my laptop. my body is not as it used to be and i'm at late 30s. need to be refreshed... but how? SOS, guys
So many variables my friend. Your form....your equipment...the placement, your sleep, your diet, ...taking breaks. I also do eye excercises like look up....move your eyeballs to extreme left corner of room above you and extreme right corner of room above you ..eyes only. Now focus at palm of hand facing you...then far away....back to palm of hand facing you. Should immediteley feel the benefit.
Squats and general self monitoring of physical form...we all have different body and elevation needs. Working while standing also in the mix. Watching the brightness of your screen and choosing dark mode for everything. Experiment.

You asked great question. It reminded me of Woman that was always last to leave work and first to arrive + Energy drinks..may she rest in peace. Exact same fate for Banking Intern. Energy Drinks.. right up there with vaping. I remember one in The States was half energy drink and half alcohol...and was delish. Now that was true Liquid Death haha.

Set a timer to stand up every 45 minutes and get outside for a brisk 15-minute walk. Adding some basic bodyweight stretches and staying properly hydrated makes a massive difference for desk fatigue.

Start with a 20–30 minute daily walk, ideally outdoors. Every 45–60 minutes of laptop work, stand up, stretch, and move for 3–5 minutes. Add strength training 2–3 times weekly, prioritize protein, vegetables, water, and regular sleep. Reduce late-night screen time.

Haha, if you think staring at a laptop screen is bad, I would like you to try staring at 4 screens all day and all night.

Short answer: don't stay all day infront of your laptop...your health is the most precious thing you have.

Long answer: involves working out in the morning taking at least two 3 km walks per day eating healthy and have good sleep.

Sitting at a desk all day in your late 30s is really hard on the body. Two things that helped me a lot are taking a quick 10-minute walk outside without any screens at lunch and resting your eyes by looking away from the computer every 20 minutes. You should also get a comfortable chair and stand up every hour to stretch will result you to feel much better.......
I could never sit in church, a game, play, concert like I can a computer screen...amazing. :)

What are you looking at the screen for? Are you working? Personally, I prefer a desktop and standard monitors.

I don't have a particular set of magic steps apart from being physically active and keeping a solid balanced diet.

Another thing is that you need a very solid ergonomic work chair, doesn't need to be super expensive, as the offer is wide, but one that makes you feel comfortable, makes you sit straight and don't make your back stiff.

They say it's also very useful to stretch one's back and neck frequently.

I generally try to slip in a 35 - 45 minutes of high-intensity home work out into my daily schedule, right before the lunch.
