4-5 articles are enough. But when you are starting, prepare some articles and put in the blog. The people coming to your blog should not see it empty.

Exactly. I think a smaller number of genuinely useful articles is much easier to maintain and improve over time.

I don't think every site needs to publish the same number of articles. If someone can write 30-50 useful posts without rushing, that's fine. But if the quality starts to drop, I'd rather write 10 high quality posts and keep publishing regularly.

It depends on your planning with the blog. Like if you want to make it a authority blog , you will have to plan lot of articles from beginning.

depends on the niche but for new sites with low authority, less articles more depth wins almost always google seems to trust sites that show effort per piece early on
