It could just be the lookup site labeling the IP differently. Check it using a few services and ask Decodo to confirm what network it comes from. If it was sold as mobile, they should be able to verify or replace it.

That's a known issue with proxy labeling in general — worth verifying the IP type independently (IPQualityScore or similar), since 'mobile' vs 'residential' isn't always accurately tagged. If it's genuinely mislabeled, push for a replacement or refund rather than troubleshooting around it.

It depends on what method you are using to test IP geolocations. The line between residential and mobile is not that clear-cut in most cases.

Could just be the IP checker. Different databases can label the same IP as mobile or residential. Check the ASN and carrier on a few sites. If it belongs to a mobile network, it should be fine. If it shows a regular ISP, send decodo the IP, gateway and time you used it so they can check the pool
