Google does not want to serve AI answers for all searches. It is more like intense is being filled with AI posts everywhere. That is then shown in results. The situation might come out of the hands of Google if they do not take some serious steps on time .
They always wanted as many people as possible to use their ads. The purpose of any company is to increase their income and for google majority of income is from programs like adwords only.
Make money online system is already affected. It is no longer possible to make money with conventional methods. You have to get out of comfort zone to make decent money online.
but in my view the main change here would be that SEO would no longer be about ranking. if users receive ai results nd do not click on the search results, then generiic articles would have no chance, while unique research, opinions, tools nd powerful brands would have something to live for. therefore, google zero would not kill SEO but could make it different.
May be google users also do not like these results served and and we have some alternative search engine takin advantage of this. So far as AI is concerned, it has already replaced major portion of google searches.
however, posts such as "10 best…" will definitely have difficulties as the information is already there in the SERP. from my point of view, the best way to do it is to create content with original research or opinion.
