to me, the initial few seconds were the most important part that made a difference for me. the key is to make sure that the introduction immediatelly captures the viewers attention nd offers a reason for him to keep watching the video. it was also important to focus on the title nd thumbnail as well.YouTube feels more competitive than ever. I wanted to test the single image 5 sec loop no motion, no music, no nothing but image strategy. Youtube still adds it to the shorts category.YouTube feels more competitive than ever. What’s one strategy you’ve tested that genuinely improved your views or engagement?

Check, Check, Check, Check and Check. I would only add...make ad revenue the cherry on top....monetize on day one in that Video Description. I used to crack up watching Alex Hormozi canned speech before every video..."I have nothing to sell you" with a link to Amazon for his book in the description.I think improving retention made the biggest difference for me. Focusing on a strong hook keeping the video moving and delivering value without unnecessary filler seems to help viewers stay longer and engage more naturally.
That wonderful word "recurring". Makes alot of incidental FRAMA go away. Financial Drama.I havent really gotten any improvement like that i tend to focus on more task that are kind of giving me recurring revenue but i will go back to it soon
To the best of my knowledge, improving the thumbnail made the biggest difference. I started focusing more on curiosity and making the value obvious at a glance. Even with the same type of content, better thumbnails noticeably improved CTR and views.YouTube feels more competitive than ever.
