What was the one thing you wish you know when you started PPC?

I’ll run some test ads first to see which keywords are driving junk traffic, so I can add them as negative keywords

Probably understanding data earlier. I used to look only at clicks and CPC, but conversions, tracking quality and user intent matter much more. Once you understand the full funnel, optimizing becomes much easier.

I wish someone told me that more clicks dont always mean more sales. Took me a while to focus on the quality of traffic and actual conversions instead of just watching CTR and CPC.

I used to obsess over ad copy and ignore the landing page. Small improvements to page speed, messaging, and forms ended up having a bigger impact on conversions than most campaign tweaks.
Same for me as well. The moment you click on something, the landing page takes care of everything, so optimizing the speed and making the offer clear can sometimes work better than writing more copy.
