Do you stop working on a page which continues to rank,

In all honesty i let it be if it is doing its job. It is better to spend my time improving pages which were not up to par rather than messing around with a winner.

Although the ranking remains stable, if the traffic is very low and there are methods to increase the traffic or improve the keyword ranking, it can be modified. Moreover, such modifications can be made boldly.
 
If a page has been stable for months and is already performing well, I usually wouldn’t make changes just for the sake of changing it. I’d monitor its rankings, traffic, impressions, and the SERP to see whether competitors or search intent are shifting. If those signals remain stable, I’d leave the page alone and put the effort into pages where there is a clearer opportunity for improvement.

But if it remains stable and keeps delivering traffic, then there is no reason to mess with it. Update when the search results page changes or when the page stops receiving clicks .
 
If the page is doing fine I don’t see much reason to keep changing it I’d just keep an eye on it and update things if something starts going down

That’s right. Normally, I like to concentrate on fact-checking, fixing up weaker sections and making internal links, instead of making changes out of the need for something new.
 
If a page is consistently ranking and performing well usually leave it alone and just monitor it only make changes when there’s a clear opportunity to improve or rankings start dropping.

yeah, same here. i think i would prefer monitoring my ranking, traffic, and conversion statistics before reacting to any change in Google. if the statistics indicate there is an issue, it is time for me to make changes.

and if it is stable i will not continue to poke at it in search of optimisation. i would prefer to use the tym working on pages that needs improvement or barely missing page one.
 
If it's not broken, I'd probably leave it alone. Tweaking something that's already doing well feels like asking for trouble.

If a page is performing consistently, I usually avoid unnecessary changes. I’d monitor its traffic and rankings, then only update it when there’s a clear opportunity or sign of decline.

as long as it was still generating traffic and ranking is gud i does not tinker with it. tinkering with something that was already doing fine might only introduces an issue where there were none before.
 
That's a solid approach. If something is already doing well, I'd mostly leave it alone and just keep an eye on it, only touching it if something actually changes.

Imo, no need to fix what isn't broken. If the page is performing well, so I’d leave it alone and wait until there’s real need of change.
 
If the page is doing well I’d leave it alone for a while I’d only make changes if the traffic or rankings start showing signs of dropping
 
You should leave them untouched as they are already performing well but you should see its analytics as they could loose their results overnight
