Beginner-friendly tools for creating short videos

I want to create short promo/tutorial videos for social and my site. What are the easiest tools (desktop or mobile) for a complete beginner to record, edit, add captions, and export vertical and landscape versions?

I prefer Davinci Resolve but it does have a bit of a learning curve so it might not be as beginner friendly as capcut
 
For short video creation I always prefer CapCut and Canva AI they are east to use for begginers.
 
I will follow this path: For mobile, get Inshot or capcut. When you are done editing, use Tiktok to add captions since adding captions is a paid feature, Tiktop will do that for free. Then use Videoshow to compress large videos. For PC Just use capcut. I will follow this path: For mobile, get Inshot or capcut.
