Got a Transparency manual action in a website (i think it's al old one from the previous owner, it was already there as soon i created the GSC). Appealed around 2 weeks ago but still not update.

How long does this usually takes?

Thanks!

The period of two weeks is not an odd one, especially if the manual intervention requires further analysis. What is important here is to ensure that the problem has been solved before asking for a new review.

as far as i understand, this is not something extraordiinary since two weeks is not that long. it may depend on the kind of action nd how the google review queue looks like.if this action existed before u purchased the domain i would also check the content nd links created by the previous owner of this domain.by the way, do u know how much time usually takes a transparency manual action?

Two weeks isn’t unusual. Google says reconsideration reviews can take several weeks so I wouldn’t worry yet or submit another request while the current one is pending.

In my past experience, I have worked on a website which took 1 year to get the manual action removed from the website after submission of reconsideration. We had received manual action due to backlinks. Disavow files are checked from the Google sites. If Google feels backlinks are spammy then we need to again appeal the reconsideration request by uploading the updated disavow file.

Two weeks isn't necessarily unusual. Manual action reviews can take some time, especially if Google has a backlog. If the issue was already on the domain before you took it over, I'd make that clear in the reconsideration request and explain what you've changed.

took about 3 weeks for one of mine to get reviewed, google's kinda inconsistent with timing though, some people report it taking over a month

It is quite normal, I would say. usually, manual actions review takes from one or two weeks up to some more time. It depends on the type of problem that Google is investigating.

It appear that the timing with respect to google in this respect is also inconsistent. what I would recommend is to give it some more time before tackling this problem.

It can take several weeks to a month. You need to wait, and Google will notify you via email.

two weeks appears to be quite standard for me. I would simply wait until my review is concluded and not send any more applications until then.

two weeks is still within the normal window, since google says reviews can take several days or weeks. don’t submit another request yet

timing is actually random, however, since I have seen that some violations have taken month to be sorted out; look at your original violation nd compare it with other that have been sorted out.

check the manual actions report and fix the exact issue google flagged instead of just waiting.

Reviews can take a few days to several weeks; ensure the original issue is fully documented and fixed before submitting another reconsideration request.

google appears to be everywhere becuz of timing problems tbh, but you need to keep an eye on the manual action notice nd not re-submitted before review.

check the affected pages, not just the homepage. the issue may be coming frommissing information on specific articles

Two weeks may not be too much. Depending on the case, the manual action review process by Google may take a while.

I wouldn’t recommend that you resubmit the appeal again until the issue is sorted out completely.

However, if it hasn’t been resolved after a decent amount of time, then it’s best to check the GSC.
