How do you choose a good niche for a new TikTok account?

I’d check demand first, then competition. But I’d also pick something I actually enjoy making content about, otherwise it gets hard to stay consistent.

I would start with the intersection of demand, interest and your ability to create consistently. A topic with huge demand but no passion usually burns out fast. Check what people are searching for, study competitors, then find a unique angle where you can offer something different.
 
Pick a topic you know and enjoy. Choose something people care about with enough ideas for regular videos. Keep your content clear and focused to help grow your account.

the niche will be selected depending on how many video ideas i can think of related to it if i can think of no more than 50 video ideas nd i m running out of them after just 5-10 videos then this niche is not for me.i will consider other factors like demand nd compettition but more importantly can smaller channels get viewers?
 
Tik Tok shop gives you highly detailed analytics on what is converting. You find that...then you build around it.....not too specific...go for the broader category and add couple hot products to your arsenal...no guessing games..fully proven. Create content around those.

I will choose a topic that I am capable of handling, genuinely love and excel at.
 
i would a start with a niche with high demand and copy others (make it better), but also start a niche with low demand, so you go double tracked...
 
I usually choose topics based on current trends that are attracting attention, as these generate traffic very quickly.
 
Always prioritize market demand before assessing competition after all, a competitive niche is where the money and the audience are; the key is finding a unique angle to break into the market.
 
check demand first mainly, then competition and how easy it is to make consistent content around the topic, coz no point picking a niche thats hard to keep posting in.
 
i wouldn't really look externally as much to check competition or demand etc, anything that YOU are interested in and find a few of your frineds in your group in real life might be interested in too has the capacity to succeed. only condition is you have to really be into it because you will be spending time to making your account the best possible in that niche, which doesnt happen automatically and AI is not much help after a certain level .
 
For a new TikTok account, I’d choose a niche based on audience demand + content supply + your ability to produce consistently, rather than just chasing whatever is trending.
