Over the past two weeks, I’ve noticed significant restrictions on ad accounts—even those that have never been used. Is this issue specific to Business Manager (BM) accounts, or does it affect all types of accounts?

everyday scanning
The target audience consists of personal accounts and small BM

This happens all the time; if you have multiple disabled accounts, you could try appealing them in smaller batches—if that fails, just stop and wait for further updates from the community.

It is not just the Business Manager (BM) that can be restricted; ad accounts, profiles, and Pages can also be restricted—even ad accounts that have not yet run any ads.

This affects all types of accounts, but agency accs have their own challenges - you can't influence their relationship with Facebook. Right now, we're using setups with farm accounts.

almost bro, especially BM3 was scanned strictly. today, everything seems better but account is still restricted.

I think this storm season could last for one to two months, because it happens every year.

I think this is likely the biggest sweep of the year, and it could continue through the end of the month.

Looks broader than just BM accounts. Meta can restrict ad accounts, profiles, pages, or connected assets even before much activity. I’d check Account Quality first and avoid changing too many things at once.

I also notice that older accounts with a history of spending can still be used. However, the costs involved are often too high.

Thank you. It looks like this situation might continue at least through the end of the month—much like the storm cycles we've seen in recent years.

I believe it affects all types of accounts, since even non BM accounts have been affected.

Moreover, it directly impacts fanpages and profiles. The general situation right now is difficult for everyone.

This wave of account sweeps has been ongoing for some time and is targeting BM3 and BM2k5 accounts. Although some accounts have managed to survive so far, Meta's next move remains unpredictable.

I believe that things might stabilize after this month. Every year, the storm season lasts for about a month.
