I don't even know if I should make an update post as I've done practically nothing except come to a few realisations but some people told me they'll look forward to updates, since I sounded pretty desperate in my last post, and I feel obliged to update them. First, I'll update my situation, then I'll detail whatever I THINK I got from the last post, and then my progress.
Situation Update: My relation with my parents is much better, and their relation with each other seems to be better aswell. This is a development since the past 2 weeks, so I don't know how long it will last, but they made some expressions of love that makes me think maybe we can work it out this time. So, I REALLY don't want to jinx it (PLEASE GOD) but I think I don't need to rush things now. I might have more time, or maybe even an opportunity to complete my studies if I'm patient enough. For anyone going through it, it does get better. Maybe not forever, but grasp that light you see even for an instant and never let go of it again

Main advice seems to be to find a niche. I agree with that, but honestly it's pretty hard to know what to do exactly. However, harsh reality is that this part won't be spoonfed to you, so adapt or fall behind I guess. Someone recommended youtube, and while it sounds like a good idea, it'd put my skills I've developed since I was 11 all to waste. It's not bad for quick cash but I might have some more time now so I'd rather think this through properly. Using lower competition websites for freelancing is also great advice I should've took to heart and done research on ;/. Speaking directly to customers and figuring out their problems was also recommended... but, while it is really good advice and possibly the best I got here, I can't even find any potential clients in the first place. Everyone is living in the fast life nowadays, nobody wants to reply to a random asking "Hi!!! Top 10 startup problems you have?". I guess I gotta improve my pitch but bro, I can't even DM most people on X, I don't know if it's because my account is relatively new or what. To address: "I gotta improve my pitch", Stavro gave REALLY good advice for this and I'll make sure to implement it... but, let's just say I didn't do it already.

"Progress": Surpiringly/Unsurprisingly... little progress. I spent the entire time vibe-coding SLOP projects. Absolute SLOP. Like revenue trackers, crypto revenue tracker, and an AI-powered reverse engineering tool... which sounds cool, until you realise I have NO idea on how reverse engineering actually works so I couldn't go deeper than just scratching the surface.
All of these projects have been thankfully cleaned from my portfolio/github since yesterday, except the RE tool but it's just a placeholder till I find a better project. I spent around 15 days of this vibe-coding a SaaS to generate leads using scrapping... but scrapping services in a website is simply impractical. Running browsers with different accounts on one machine to scrape X/Upwork/Discord is a recipe to get all users banned. Funny thing is... I realised this 15 DAYS into spending DOZENS OF HOURS on this project. I genuinely cannot be this stupid.
After this, a week later (sob), I finally had a lightbulb go over my head and decided to actually research into my niche... AI Chatbots for Instagram/WhatsApp and other social media, but primarily them... I can't even do it. The project I made for it was based on scrapping and shortly after my accounts got flagged and I can't even log in on Instagram on my PC now, and my facebook account got nuked aswell. So it's not even a reliable solution for my clients. And the actual reliable solutions that use Meta API... there are ALREADY dozens of ESTABLISHED services offering these, some at pretty cheap rates.
So, the niche I was working towards is pretty useless now too. I know I must do something with AI, but I don't know what.
TLDR; situation better, but i made no progress. my niche is useless but i still wanna stick with AI automation, but idk in what sense. i want to utilise my skills of backend development and ai integration using RAG in some projects to generate money but idk how
