What SEO activity takes up the most of your time.

Honestly, for me it’s probably the boring research part. Finding good opportunities, checking competitors and sorting through data takes way longer than actually doing the SEO work sometimes.

For me the most time consuming point has been building backlinks and the techical aspects, looking at hiring in a freelancer that can manage this points to be able to free up the most time
 
For me, link building and content research usually take the most time. Finding relevant opportunities and making sure each link or piece of content actually adds value requires a lot of manual work.
 
i think publishing good and quality content often takes time, infact seo is the name of patience if you do not have patience then you cannot do it

Same here. The difficult thing is not identifying the right websites but identifying the websites that have traffic, relevance, and a good background. It is normally more important than metrics.

Mostly link building lately with content update taking the rest .Technical SEO is come up as needed,
 
client communication easily take more time than actual seo work. explaining why rankings need more time harder than doing the audit itself link prospecting also takes lot of time

Is it creating content, building links, working on technical SEO, or something else entirely?
 
Keyword research, analyzing new and existing keywords in GSC, and content curation.
 
I would say small SEO tasks take the most time each task is easy but doing many of them takes a lot of time.
 
Yeah, content creation takes a lot of time, especially the research part. Making sure it matches search intent can be surprisingly time-consuming.
 
For me, link building takes the most time, especially finding quality and relevant websites and keeping everything organized.
 
For me, the link building process is very tedious. As an off-page SEO, I always look for relevant backlinks, niche, and quality placement as I believe these factors can improve a site's content's visibility and search engine ranking.
 
For me it’s usually content creation and link building. Technical issues come up too but they’re more occasional compared to the daily SEO work.
 
I spend most of my time on technical SEO and improving existing content. A lot of that involves finding indexing problems updating older pages and strengthening internal links. Link building also takes time especially when the goal is to get relevant trustworthy links instead of simply building a high number of them.
